Leicester @ 50: A Love Letter to All Leicester City Football Fans

THE GUARDIAN.COM

It seems like five months ago when I wrote my first piece, Leicester City More Than The Southampton of Last Season. I was nearly killed by the media frenzy social media platforms have to offer. On Facebook, someone just sent me a text and said it’s just two games, United would bounce back. Hey Mr. Leicester man, you are going nowhere, the leaders would be back. After another 22 games making it a total of 24 games overall, it seems Leicester City has been more than the Southampton of last season and rightly so because the expertly tutelage of the tinker man Claudio Ranieri is undoubtedly going to land Leicester the league.
It might be Chelsea, Liverpool or Manchester City, bring on any team you feel deserves to beat Leicester City and you would know that you are just messing around because you cannot beat the Kings.
A small love affair is being spearheaded by all Leicester fans to carry on the Leicester lads to bringing the championship home.
Leicester City footballers make football look easy, nowadays the fans are smiling, they are always amiable.
Vardy would just score, you would feel the pinch as three points has been gotten, on the pitch he is our small beetle.
Look at how Riyad Mahrez has light up the English Premier League with his own magic candle.
The inclusion of Loic Remy means that Leicester is going to dazzle.
The vision Mr. Ranieri has for the league is more than that of eagle.
No wonder Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and the rest seems to fumble.
Leicester players are not that gullible because they are focused and with every match they are not ready to gamble.
Why? Because they are the best and they are remaining humble.
Discipline has been achieved through Mr. Ranieri and I believe they are deservedly Kings because they are top and can be considered the lion in the jungle.
How can they make some big teams feel so cold with continuous defeats, they are hotter than water in a kettle.
Leicester City is on the rise and therefore cannot be considered as a team that is so little.
Please if you were not a part of us originally, don’t come out here just to mingle,
Because Remy, Vardy and Mahrez would be facing your team would goal scoring needles.
Our lads have been great people.
The league hasn’t been easy and match by match it is not going to be simple.
But let us support them game by game, week by week so that they can bring home the title.
Leicester might lead most of us to taking our brides to the temple.
Leicester, a Team on Course.
