AC MILAN MUST BE SERIOUS

The fans of AC Milan are tired of the trial and error being done by the management. Every club has its main rival and AC Milan’s rival in football is Liverpool. Liverpool was in the same shade AC Milan finds itself by changing managers but they have settled for a coach who can help transform the club and rightly so in Jurgen Klopp. 

As fans, we are tired of the experiments; this coach comes in and leaves. For the third season running, Milan would not be competing in the Champions League.

Real Madrid were just two titles ahead of Milan in many years and if not for bad management Milan would have been able to break through and equal the record. Look at what has happened now in the space of three years; they have an equal chance to go four up the ladder not forgetting that the likes of Barcelona and Bayern Munich are catching up.

As loyalists of such a humble club, all that we ask is that the owner of the club should sell some stake of the club to people who are ready to take the club to new heights because for thirty years, they have done all they can and Milanistas are very much grateful but times have changed and we need to be a part of the winning teams.

Milan needs to get back to the days where they could compete for some of the greatest stars the continent produces.

It’s basically simple, fans need a manager who has been tried and tested and knows the demand of Milanistas. We have been with Milan for a very long time and we are not going to watch our team hit the rocks because of bad management.

Forza Italy, Forza Serie A and Forza Milan, Milan represents Italy in the Champions League as without Milan there is no real Italian representation in the Champions League.

El Sharaawy: Did Ac Milan Have A Youth Policy

There are not many clubs in world football that has produced a lot of quality players

FC Barcelona without a doubt has come up with great squad from their La Masia academy but AC Milan has not done badly.

Milan has produced some exciting players and has let them join teams where they now flourish and there is one in Stephan El Sharaawy.

Massimo Donati was one of the young midfield sensations when he hit the stage in the early 2000’s as a youngster playing for Milan. Due to the availability and experience of the likes of Manuel Rui Costa, Clarence Seedorf, Massimo Ambrosini and Gennaro Ivan Gattuso, Donati could not cement a place in the Milan starting line-up. El Sharaawy in the early 2010’s faced the same problem due to his age. Donati’s life has never been better having played for Celtic Football club among a number of clubs.

Yoann Gourcuff was featured in Football Manager 2007 and 2008 and was even tagged the new Zinedine Zidane. Once again AC Milan allowed Gourcuff to leave on loan to Girondin Bordeaux and with time the deal became permanent. Gourcuff was one of the finest players around and had a unique way of posing himself for free kicks. Another Milan talent has gone waste because the club did not structure things well to see the creativity of such a talented midfielder.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has been tagged as the new face of African strikers. When he moved from Saint Etienne to Dortmund, many people ranked him next to nothing. But in just a few years he has turned from an average striker to a world class striker. He has scored 12 goals in all competitions this season which is bigger than the strikers of AC Milan combined.

This notwithstanding the fact that Carlos Bacca and Luis Adriano are churning out great performances for the red and black outfit and with time could do more. But the two players could have done more with the support of the flying winger Stephan El Sharaawy.

Aubameyang was a Milan youth product and once again he is helping grow Borussia Dortmund win games week in week out. Milan is in limbo and has gone from a World and European champion to a mid-table team in Serie A whose objectives for the season keeps changing with various match days.

Many people thought the sales of Shevchenko, Kaka, Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva would pave way for the likes of younger talents like El Sharaawy to develop in the team. Milan have other plans, sending them off and getting older players whose good days are all gone as there is no urgency to wear the iconic shirt.

Bryan Cristante is one of the finest midfielders that the world is going to see in the next two three years. Milan was on a project of building their youth to take up the roles that made Milan the best.

Last season Bryan Cristante was shipped to Benfica to add up to the already brimming talent of Nico Gaitan and to help Benfica win Laurels. Milan fans were not happy with this decision and they have been hit with another massive blow.

Stephan El-Sharaawy was loaned to AS Monaco at the back of a formation where he could not fit. An outmoded 4-3-1-2 position which saw the likes of Clarence Seedorf play as the attacking midfielder behind Ronaldo and Vieri at Internazionale Milano in the late 90’s. El Sharaawy fared well in the 4-3-3 position under Coach Massimiliano Allegri in the 2012/13 campaign.

NEWSPAPERS SPECULATING PERMANENT AS MONACO STAY FOR EL SHARAAWY

Reports coming out from tuttosport suggest that El Sharaawy’s deal is going to be made permanent so that he can continue to successfully help Monaco win games. Meanwhile Milan continues to struggle immensely and their fans cannot watch games but continue to find a meaning to the teams transfer policy.

Milan should have been lining up with the likes of El Sharaawy, Cristante, Aubameyang, Gourcuff and the addition of world class players like Carlos Bacca and Luis Adriano would have added invaluable support.

Now the big question and fear many Milanistas ask themselves is if the future of the team which was El Sharaawy has been made to complete a deal with AS Monaco, then how long are they going to hold onto the best under 20 player in the world being Hachim Mastour? Share your thoughts.

Europa League Should Be Italy’s Fourth Spot In The Champions League

Italian teams have become preposterous in some of their planning. Lovers of the Italian game simply cannot come to terms why Uefa under Michel Platini has come up with such a great idea that the winner of the Uefa Europa League would be given an automatic berth to the Uefa Champions League and Italian teams failed to capitalize on such a great opportunity when Fiorentina and SSC Napoli made it to the semi-finals of the competition last season.

This season seems to be a great season for the three teams carrying the flag of the Serie A thus Napoli, Fiorentina and SS Lazio. Napoli has been in scintillating form and Fiorentina seems to have finally found the ground to scoring goals and winning matches back to the days where Roberto Baggio and Gabriel Batistuta made Florence a place where beautiful women and football was sort after, but they would have to bounce back after the loss to Lech Poznan.

Italian Serie A must win the Europa League season in an season out although it might seem a daunting task, the last four competitions experienced in Europe being the Champions league and Europa league has seen La liga win them all, Barcelona and Madrid winning the champions leagues and Sevilla winning the Europa League back to back.

Where are the days of Claudio Gentile who were more interested in the pride of playing football, defending your team and the league at large? It seems the days of Gennaro Ivan Gattuso, Franco Baresi, Michel Platini, Marco Van Basten and Giuseppe Favalli would never be seen again because of the less dedication and urgency being meted out by current footballers in the Italian Serie A.  

Serie A shocked the footballing world by spending more money than other leagues which came as a surprise from the footballing world because of the new crude method of joint ownership of players where players are bought from next to nothing. But frankly how has the Italian Serie A benefitted from such sales. It is not looking good for a league with so much tactics, abundance in skilled managers and great former footballers to be experiencing such embarrassment in Europe. The FIGC should not be there waiting for things to improve because contemporary footballers are more interested in making money than playing football.

Cristiano Ronaldo has broken Raul’s record but he still wants to score more goals. Lionel Messi has won the Champions league four times and would still want to win, why, because there is what we call urgency and a desire to do more.

Serie A needs to up their game; players in Serie A should in no way use the league as a stepping stone to getting bigger deals at other clubs because the Italian Serie A is the most competitive league this season with middle table clubs occupying the greatest spots.

This season lovers of Italian football are keeping a close eye on all the teams playing in Europe and once again they cannot fail Italian football. Forza Italia, Forza Serie A, Forza Football.

PREMIER LEAGUE

EVERTON VERSUS LIVERPOOL

EVERTON LOOKS TO CONTINUE WITH GREAT FORM

It’s one of the matches that I would pay any amount of money just to watch because it might determine the future of Liverpool Boss Brendan Rodgers who has seen his side play against some of the weakest opponents in recent times and only manage draws. Last Thursdays draw against a low fancied Sion in the Uefa Europa League means that Liverpool seems to be thriving on the same fate that see them buy players but cannot get the results the team needs in order to sail through. The sale of Balotelli seemed to have helped but the performances he is churning out for Milan proves he could have done something for the Club. Philippe Coutinho might be playing his last season for Liverpool if they do not make it to the Champions League and would likely follow in the footsteps of Raheem Sterling. Brendan Rodgers should do more to win this game or his job and the core of the team would all leave to see Liverpool become weaker and weaker.

Everton at 12 points and just four points to the summit of the table would not be pushovers, they are more concerned about getting the job done and Naismith would love to repeat the feet he gained against Chelsea. Everton would be coming out with full strength. Merseyside is destined to witness a great game on Sunday and the whole world would be following them.

ARSENAL VERSUS MANCHESTER UNITED

One of the greatest games in the early 2000’s when the league was dominated by the two clubs till Arsenal fell off but are now back in third place and a win would see them join United in the summit of the league and better them with goal difference. It’s been embarrassing for Arsene Wenger’s men, but they look bright this season in the league and would like to bounce back from the shameful disgrace and performance in the Champions League in mid-week which now sees them on the brink of group stage elimination. Alexis Sanchez and Ozil would come strong and Petr Cech would do his best to make the best out of the game.

Manchester United seems to have gotten a new energy this season and bounced back with wins against Southampton, Sunderland and Wolfsburg. With the likes of Memphis Depay and Anthony Martial possessing strengths in attack, Louis Van Gaal would be relying on his team to play out his tactics and get the results they need so that they would be able to extend their lead in the race for the Premiership.

It’s going to be a game where new faces face off and both teams need to make the most of their chances in order to be victorious.

SPAIN (LA LIGA)

ATLETICO VERSUS REAL MADRID

La Liga has always been seen by many as the best league in the world. Anyway it’s arguable but having Ronaldo and Messi who score combined goals of a little over 100 shows you they are in a league of their own. Messi is out injured but the big match revolves around Cristiano’s team and that’s the game between Atletico de Madrid and Real Madrid. Having lost to FC Barcelona this season after taking the lead Atletico would not give Real Madrid any chance and would love to repeat the feet they achieved 2014/15 where they beat them 4-0. Cristiano Ronaldo seems to have broken Raul’s record according to the kind of lens you are wearing, but in order to clear people’s doubts, he would be aiming to score the goal that would silence his doubters and proves to him that hard work and ambition pays off and he would go down the history books of the world game as one of the greatest. Rafael Benitez gradually seems to have found his rhythm and the same goes with Atletico Madrid who would love to bounce back after losing 1-2 to Benfica in midweek. Whatever happens, derby matches are like no other and with the London Derby gone and the Milan Derby gone far away, this derby is the one the world focuses on this weekend. Viva Derby Madrid.

BUNDESLIGA

BAYERN MUNICH VERSUS BORUSSIA DORTMUND

Thomas Tuchel came up not long ago and has taken over well from former Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp. The yellow and black outfit seems to have a new light under the former Mainz Boss and they are playing Champagne football and keep the ball to themselves, work it out well before scoring flamboyant goals. With the sale of Kevin De Bruyne to Manchester City, Wolfsburg are a far cry to challenge Bayern Munich this season and the job as always needs to be done by Dortmund. Pierre Emerick Aubameyang would love to score again to take his scoring record to a new level having scored in the first seven games of the Bundesliga season.

Josep Guardiola as always is a master, having reached the Champions League semi-finals every season in his career, he assembles young and old and gets the job done. The purchase of Douglas Costa and the emergence of Robert Lewandowski from the shadows is one that would aid Bayern Munich win this game.

Whatever happens the Allianz Arena would be filled to capacity and the game would be won by the top two strikers involved.

ITALIAN SERIE A 

AC MILAN VERSUS NAPOLI

The Italian league is the most unpredictable league this season. Betting on matches would see you always lose because every team seems to have upped their game and tactical set up. The match between AC Milan and Napoli is the match that would fill the headlines of the Gazetta Dello Sport newspaper at the end of the weekend. Both teams need to win. Luis Adriano, Balotelli and Carlos Bacca would love to get a good game to prove their worth to coach Sinisa Mihaijovic who seems to be unimpressed week in and week out. Napoli are no push overs, with the happenings of Fiorentina at the San Siro last weekend, this weekend might also provide some scintillating games. The Italian Serie A is on the rise and the game would be one that takes the performances of the teams to a new level.

It’s a weekend with great games and Sunday evening would have summed up with a lot of surprises.
