WILL ATHLETIC BILBAO SURVIVE THE NIGHTMARE OF CAMP NOU AND FC BARCELONA

Lionel Messi has without doubt been the best player in the world for 2015 but his magic run out last Friday as he and his Barcelona teammates were humbled by Athletic Bilbao on Friday nights.
It seems Friday nights would be preferred by the San Mames side when they face FC Barcelona every now and then. Aritz Aduriz having plied his trade mostly in La Liga for a short period of time with Real Mallorca has seen the move he made again to Bilbao prove necessary and important in cementing his name in the history books of the club.

If everything goes on right for the Red and Black outfit they would be good to go and win a silverware in as many years. It's strange that with the sales of Javi Martines to Bayern Munich and Ander Herrera to Manchester United, Bilbao still possess enough prowess in midfield to silence arguably the best midfield in Europe that easily links the best attacking trio in world football.

Two matches are not the same as Athletic Bilbao were beaten by Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey final which saw them gained a spot to play in the Super Coppa they now lead 4-0. They have won but would have to do more in order to silence the Camp Nou. People have gone there and lost, hopefully the nightmares of Milan who won 2-0 in the champions league first leg in 2013 would not befall on them.

The whole world would be watching but Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and the others would not allow the trophy to elude them and throw into the shade what most pundits in the world of the beautiful game considered a trophy laden season where they would repeat the historic six trophies a season.

Beware Athletic Bilbao the next 90 minutes would show the world you are deserved champions of the SuperCoppa or the first leg showings were just luck and the match won on mere mistakes because Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta would be watching to put you away and add to their trophy.
